Typically, it is operated by the tree shear or Sennebogen driver so they can directly feed and process the timber and arisings they are cutting. The combination allows the driver to sit at a safe distance in his cab whilst feeding the chipper with their machine. The remote operated discharge spout allows the chips to be directed to ground or into a trailer or lorry.

Working in combination with the Sennebogen or an excavator tree shear the Kesla unit provides an efficient and safe tree clearance and chipping operation.
