PB Forestry shows support for local Sport
PB Forestry has strengthened its links with the local sports scene by teaming up with Leamington Lawn Tennis and Squash Club (LLTSC). PB Forestry has agreed to sponsor the internal squash league for 12 months and supplied team shirts for 50 players. Sara French (Marketing and Sponsorship Officer) is delighted to have PB Forestry on board.
“PB Forestry has recently started working in partnership with Leamington Lawn Tennis and Squash Club (LLTSC), by signing a 12-month agreement for exclusive Naming Rights of one of the club’s six squash courts, along with the sponsorship of its Internal Squash League, through the provision of t-shirts for 50 players. Founded in 1872, LLTSC has over 1000 active members, across both tennis and squash and holds the title of ‘World’s First Lawn Tennis Club’. It also welcomes 100’s of non-members to the site, who either come to play in, or watch, the many tournaments and events the club holds each year, both at junior and senior level.
LLTSC is primarily a volunteer-led community sports club, meaning all profits are invested for the benefit of its members. This helps to keep membership fees affordable, making it an accessible community club. Plus, in a bid to make the club even more accessible for young people, free squash and tennis coaching sessions are being offered to several members of a local Youth Club, with a year’s free membership for anyone who would like to take up the sport after they’ve completed their sessions.”
As a keen squash player himself, Managing Director Phil Bett is delighted to be able to give back to the club that is close to his heart.
Phil commented “We hope that even a small contribution like ours will help to increase participation at the LLTSC. To align ourselves with such an iconic local club is very special”.
